Janice Wong

Janice Wong is chef and owner at Singapore's famed 2am: dessertbar and 2am: lab. She was named named Asia's Best Pastry Chef in the World's 50 Best Restaurants awards and is the author of Perfection in Imperfection. 

During the Private Vernissage on October 21st, Janice will create Ethereal. The piece will consist of 2500 chocolate white gold diamonds and is inspired by the diamond cubic crystal structure, a repeating pattern of eight atoms. Each of these minimal white chocolate diamonds comprises different flavours and tastes of Singapore.

Singapore is known as a city in a garden and fondly considered a paradise for all. Chef Janice Wong has lovingly created this edible art piece as a homage to the city, with thousands of white chocolate diamonds, and chilli padi, kaffir lime, salted caramel and praline poprocks, kopi-o chocolate bon bons. A first of its kind, guests will be able to taste Singapore through the art.
